Is there a way to purge a mailbox of items older than a certain date and automate it? Havea mailbox that all mail is also delivered to and need to find an automated way to delete items older than say a month .

Hi, Which version of Exchange are you using? If Exchange 2007 then you can do it with managed content settings. You can create managed content settings that control how long the items in managed folders (and their subfolders) are retained. Reference: Deploying Messaging Records Management

If any messages are more recent than the age limit that is imposed by the Mailbox Manager recipient policy, the message is not processed. Mailbox Manager examines the properties by using the "AND" operator. Therefore, all properties must meet the criteria.
